Event information
M-F 9am-5pm, Sat 10am-5 pm, Sun 11am-4pm. Closed major holidays. Water should be carried. Ask for start box cabinet at counter. No longer located in hallway. Walk wanders along the perimeter of the charming village of Coronado. You will enjoy bayfront parks and the Pacific Ocean and views of the world famous Hotel del Coronado and lovely local historic homes and buildings. The trail takes place mostly on sidewalks, with a 2-km stretch along the beach (with detour forwheelchairs and strollers). The museum has a list of Coronado eateries.

Driving to the start box
1100 Orange, 92178. From I-5 (N or S) take Coronado-San Diego Bridge (State Hwy 75) across bay to Coronado. Follow main artery from bridge, becomes Third St. Turn left at light to Orange. Follow Orange to intersection of Orange and Park Pl. Metered parking along Orange (25/hr), plenty free parking on side streets. Early arrival will ensure more convenient parking. Many visitors during the summer. Plan to walk during daylight hours only and carry water during warm/hot weather.
