In bad weather there is an alternate walk that goes into the southern area of Battle Ground as the Battle Ground Lake get muddy and slippery. State park fees or yearly pass are required.

Event information
The Battle Ground Lake State Park reqires that you drive from the registration point to the walk start. The walk circles Battle Ground Lake 3 times on different trails and also follows the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad Trail.

Driving to the start box
Safeway is located on the corner of SR 503 and 219th (Main Street). From I-5 north or south take the Battle Ground exit and follow the signs to Battle Ground. Start Box at Customer Service.
