Event information
Daily, dawn to dusk. The start box is located at the reservation desk. Please be patient if guests are checking in and/or out. You will need to drive a short distance from the start point to the start of the walk. Driving directions are included with the walk directions. The Lema Ranch walk goes through property that was developed as a gift to the Redding community by Leah McConnell, one of the founders of the McConnell Foundation. There are many ponds, wildlife and native plant life on this property. There are also 2 5K's available. Churn Creek Trails allows pets with clean up, is not suitable for wheelchairs, and is difficult for baby strollers. The Lema Ranch 5K does NOT allow pets, and is relatively easy for wheelchairs and baby strollers. There are lovely vistas with plant life native to the Redding Area on the Churn Creek Trail. This provides a slightly more challenging portion with mostly wood chip paths.

2180 Hilltop, Redding, CA 96002. Take I-5 toward Redding. Exit Cypress. Turn E on E Cypress, turn N on Hilltop.
