Event information
Nature, history and charm abound in Sandwich, Cape Cod's oldest town. Route traverses old & new neighborhoods, explores town's center to include Dexter's Grist Mill, Glass Museum, historic churches & quaint shops. Boardwalk over salt marshes leads to spectacular view of Cape Cod Bay. Optional 1km extension on 10km goes to Sandwich Fish Hatchery.

Driving to the start box
65 Rt 6A, Sandwich, MA 02563, 508-833-3288. Daily 8AM-10PM. Closed Thanksgiving & Christmas. Box at Customer Service Desk. From Rt 495 South (becomes Rt 25): Go to end & cross over Bourne Bridge. Go 3/4 around rotary to Rt 6A East. Take 6A East for about 5 mi. Stop & Shop Plaza on left. From Rt 3 South: cross Sagamore Bridge & take Exit 1C onto Rt 6A East toward Sandwich for 3 mi. Stop & Shop Plaza on left.
