Event comments
Only companion dogs allowed. The ideal scenic loaction for this world famous zoo of Central Ohio is along the Scioto River. Featuring wildlife species housed in spacious natural habitats. Famous for its gorilla breeding program and wonderful aquarium exhibits called the Manatee Coast and the Discovery Reef Aquarium. Other sites are: Animals on Safari Show, underwater viewing of bears, walking with the kangaroos, ride the Grand Carousel and strolling along the boardwalk and the new Heart of Africa section. Qualifies for following special programs listed including Walk the Ohio 88 counties and Walk United States (50 States). Water and restrooms throughout the zoo, please check zoo map for specific locations.

Zoo parking is $10.00. Zoo entrance fee for Franklin County Residents: Under 3: Free, Ages 3-9 $11.99, ages 10-59 $16.99 , Ages 60 plus $11.99. Outside Franklin County: Under 3: Free, Ages 3-9 $16.99, Ages 10-59 $21.99, Ages 60 plus $ 16.99. Shuttle available from parking to entrance. Zoo open daily except Thanksgiving and Christmas. 9110 Dublin, Powell, OH 43065 located on NE of Dublin/Glick. Hours M-F 7am-10pm, Sat 8am-10pm, Sun 8am-10pm. Walkbox behind main register at front of store. Must drive 1 1/2 miles E on Glick (changes to W Powell) to Columbus Zoo & Aquarium 4850 W Powell, Powell, OH 43065. E: I70 W to 270 N, to Sawmill (Exit 20) go N (right) on Sawmill (becomes Sawmill Pkwy) Continue to Powell/SR750. Left to Powell/SR750. Zoo entrance approx 1 mile on right. Walgreens (start/finish) 1 1/2 miles further. W: I70 E to 270 N. Take 270 N to Sawmill (Exit 20) go N (left) on Sawmill. S: I71 N to 270 W, to Sawmill (Exit 20) go N (left) on Sawmill. N: I71 S to 270 W, to Sawmill (Exit 20) go N (right) on Sawmill.
