Event comments
The walk takes you through Oberlin College and past historical Underground Railroad sites. The checkpoint is located in a cemetery where numerous abolitionists are buried, plus the individual written about in Harriet Beecher Stowe's novel. The 6K trail option also takes you to this historical cemetery.

Driving to the start box
10 East College Street, Oberlin, 44074; 440-775-7001. Oberlin located about 30 miles SW of Cleveland, 8 miles S of Lorain. Oberlin Inn on Rt 58 (Main) S of Rt 511 intersection. Oberlin also reached from Ohio Turnpike, Exit 140 for Rt 58. S (left from exit ramp) 6 miles to Rt 511. Oberlin Inn past Rt 511. Continue to East College street and make an left. New hotel is replacing the original Oberlin Inn.
