Event information
Store hours: M-Sat 8am-10pm, Sun10am-10pm. Register any time, but start and finish walk only during daylight hours. In this Monterey County walk, you explore the Monterey Peninsula by the bay from the marina along a paved rec trail to Lover's Point. Seals and otters are abundant and active, the views are spectacular along the shore, and the walking is nearly level. The return includes Cannery Row and parts of Monterey Historic Park.

Driving to the start box
500 Del Monte, Monterey, CA 93940. From Hwy 1 S, take Pacific Grove/Del Monte turn off (exit 402B). Continue S on Del Monte. Lopez Taqueria is located at corner of Del Monte and Figueroa. Turn Left on Figueroa, drive one block more for free parking at the park on the Right. Enter from Del Monte. Walk box is a cabinet by the front counter at the seating area.
