Start Point Hours: MF 7am 9pm; Sat 8am 9pm; Sun 9am 9pm. Hours may vary for holidays. Call to verify 240-292-0488. The Walk Box is kept in the back. You must ask an employee for it. Please be considerate of Subway's customers. Needwood 5km rated 1A; 10km rated 2A. Parklawn 10k/12k rated 2A; Parklawn 5km rated 1A. Parklawn trail has restrooms in the Memorial Park Office; hours available vary. Lake Needwood has restrooms at the lake (which may not always be open). PETS are NOT allowed in Parklawn Memorial Park. However, there is an optional 12 km trail which bypasses Parklawn Memorial Park.

Driving to the start box

5548 Norbeck Rd, 20853. Rock Creek Village Shopping Center at Bauer. I-270 to Exit 6 (Rt 28). Turn E to Rt 28 to Rockville 1.7 miles (follow signs for Veirs Mill/Wheaton). 1st light crossing Rt 355, turn LEFT on Rt 28 at 1st, approx 1.5 miles to Bauer. Turn RIGHT to Bauer. Turn RIGHT to shopping center parking lot. Start point far left corner. FROM Silver Spring: N on Georgia (Rt 97) to Rt 28. LEFT to Rt 28. LEFT on Bauer, RIGHT to shopping center parking lot. Start point far left corner.
