Description: Seneca Creek State Pk (301-924-2127) daily 8am to sunset April-Oct; 10am to sunset Nov-March. Drive approx 3.25 miles to Park. Directions at beginning of walk instructions. There are three trails. 1: Creek Trail follows scenic Seneca Creek & parts of Clopper Lake, mostly on natural terrain, with a few challenging hills, very scenic with occasional sightings of wildlife. This trail is Rated 2C. 2: Lake Trail goes around Clopper Lake with many scenic sights, wildlife & natural trails. 3: Road Trail follows park roads offering scenic views & wildlife sightings without the challenge of the natural wooded trails. (Rating: 2A)

FROM N & S: I-270 Gaithersburg, Exit 11, Rt 124 N, Montgomery Village Ave.,
CROSS Rt 355 (N. Frederick Ave.), ***pass Lakeforest Mall on right. Continue on Montgomery Village Ave. passing Lake Whetstone on right; pass Stedwick Rd. on left; pass Centerway Rd on right. Continue and turn RIGHT at traffic light on Club House Rd. Sunrise Senior Living is on RIGHT. Please park on LEFT side of bldg.

FROM BALTIMORE: I-70 E to Rt 27 S to Damascus, to Rt 355 S. Left on Rt 124 (Montgomery Village). Continue from *** above

Comments: RESTROOMS/WATER are available in the park (noted on the instructions). PETS must be leashed. Hiking boots & walking sticks suggested.
