Event information

Dexter is the largest town in the county, but is not the county seat. Settled in 1873 and named for a racehorse. The WWII Pith helmet was designed and made here. Trail goes through residential areas & downtown. Annual Stoddard Co. 100 Mile Yard Sale is held in May along Hwy. 25.

Driving to the start box

402 W. Grant 573-624-3764 Dexter is located on US-60 between Poplar Bluff & Sikeston. From US-60, exit onto One Mile Rd. & drive south. Cross RR tracks & continue to 4-way stop at W. Grant. Left on W. Grant to Park Ln. Library is on the left & driveway is off Park Ln. Walk Box is to your right in the Genealogy Room.
