Description: Walk on pavement along the Willamette River, crossing over the river using the Hawthorne bridge and when returning using the Tillicum Crossing bridge, which both can be used for viewing the Christmas Ships Parade. Both the Columbia River and Willamette River Ships Fleet will be in the area for parade viewing - Weather permitting!! Strollers will have difficulty. Not suitable for Wheelchairs!

Start Point / Driving Directions: 928 SE 9th Avenue, Portland.
I-5 NORTHBOUND: Exit 300 to SE Yamhill St.
RIGHT on SE 3rd Ave. LEFT on SE Taylor St.
LEFT on SE 9th Ave. Rogue Eastside Pub is on the RIGHT.
I-5 SOUTHBOUND: Exit #300B. Use LEFT LANE as it turns LEFT. STRAIGHT on SE Belmont St.
RIGHT on SE 9th Ave. The Rogue Eastside Pub will be on the LEFT.

USE ON STREET PARKING. There is construction in the area, so available parking could be a few blocks from the start location.

Look for the "Barrel Room" it is in the back of the Pub.
Awards & Fees: IVV Credit Only
Comments: The Christmas Ships will depart River Place Marina at 4:30pm headed to Lake Oswego - George Rogers Park arriving at 6:00pm, where they will remain in the area there for awhile before turning around and heading back to Portand and the River Place Marina area.
The fleet will be out for approximately 3 1/2 hours. After the Willamette River Fleet is docked.
Some of the Fleet Captain's will be available to talk with and get up close photos taken, keeping in mind this will only be done after they have done there parade and returned to the dock.
The Columbia River Fleet will continue on returning back to Washington state.

Water and Restrooms at the Start & Finish. There are restrooms along the 10K route, they could be locked.
