Description: The Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens cover over 250 acres of East Texas piney woods along Cypress Creek, about 20 miles north of Downtown Houston. There are eleven different garden types plus 3 ponds and a display of endangered plants of the United States. Not only will this be a great walk but educational as well (don't tell the kids).
