Event information

Wallace State Park is one of the crown jewels of the Missouri State Park System. It's hard to believe that just a few miles off one of the busiest interstates in the US, you can find an oasis of peace and quiet while you meander through some of the trails in this park. The trails are all well marked, but they are nature trails. Therefore, insect repellent, hiking poles and shoes are recommended.

YMCA of Cameron 1903 N Walnut St Cameron, MO 64429 Hours: M-F 5-9 Sat 7-9 Sun 12-7 From KC: Take I35N towards Iowa. Take exit 54 and turn left. Take first exit ramp right for US-69 / I-35-BL toward Winston / Cameron. Turn right onto US-69/Walnut St. to destination. From Iowa: Take I35S towards Kansas City. Take exit 54 and turn right. Take first exit ramp right for US-69 / I-35-BL toward Winston / Cameron. Turn right onto US-69/Walnut St. to destination. Directions to start point: As you leave YMCA turn right on Walnut (69 Hwy). Turn left onto 36 Highway. Turn right on I-35. Take exit 48 and turn left on 69 Hwy. Turn left on MO-121. Follow MO-121 to entrance to Wallace State Park. Park opens at 7 a.m. Drive to 2nd Day Area/shelter.
