Event information

The park is open daily. Please note There is a $6 State Park entry fee. The trail is a rolling bike path with some uphill stretches that would be difficult for a wheelchair. It would be strenuous with a stroller. A port-a-pot is located in the parking lot at the event site. There are also restrooms at the visitors' center.

Driving to the start box

From I-15 North or South, take exit 5 onto Dixie Drive. Continue 4.6 miles to Sunset. Turn left onto Sunset, turn right at the first stoplight, to Warrior Drive also known as Lava Flow Drive. Continue through the residential area and turn left onto Pioneer Parkway. Drive about a mile and Harmon's will be on your right. Ask the clerk inside the store, at the business center/customer service, for the AVA box. Take the box upstairs where there are tables, stairs to the left of business center. Always let other customers take preference. Restrooms are located inside. After signing the registration, please enclose $3.00 and start card in envelope, and deposit in slot at back of file box. To the Park: Turn right onto Rachel Drive and continue down to Snow Canyon Parkway. Turn right and when you arrive at the round a bout follow to the right 3/4 of the circle and take Snow Canyon Drive into the park.
