(16/21K rated 2B) Explore the historic town of Coupeville and walk along country roads in Ebeys Landing Historical Reserve with views of Puget Sound and farm fields. Views of Penn Cove, Puget Sound, Olympic Mountains, and on clear days Mt. Baker & Mt. Rainier. Optional 10K addition (available January 1 through August 31) takes you into Fort Ebey State Park. The bluff trail in Fort Ebey State Park offers views of Port Townsend, Protection Island, Dungeness, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Vancouver Island and more. Part of walk is on rural roads. Dogs ok on leash but not in buildings. No wheelchairs or strollers on 10k addition to Fort Ebey State Park.

Driving to the start box

200 NW Coveland St, Coupeville. Follow SR 20 to traffic light in Coupeville. From North, turn left, from South turn right at the stop light onto Main Street. Left on Coveland two blocks to Coupeville Inn on your right. Registration is in a zipper binder in the lobby. Open daylight hours from 8am - 8pm. Restroom within the first K of the walk across Alexander St. behind the Chamber of Commerce Office, and along the route. Do not park in Coupeville Inn parking lot.
