Event comments
Bring your walking sticks and enjoy walking through the Garden of the Gods. Trail is rated 3C because of some hills. Route is on dirt trails through spectacular rock formations. Bring your cameras. Strollers and wheelchairs can complete many of the the trails (especially in the Central Garden area). Restrooms available at the start/finish. *Funtionally disadvantaged trail is rated a 2B due to slight incline and the altitude. Water and Food: A grill at the start/finish offers sandwiches and drinks (times are provided above. - please refer to the Grill House. The Garden of the Gods Visitor's Center also has a cafe that serves food/beverage . Expired 2016 Special Programs: Honoring Our Flag and Trekking with Trees. County: El Paso

Leashed pets only! Summer: daily, 8 am - 8:30 pm. Summer grill hours: 11 AM - 7 PM. Winter: daily 9 am - 5 pm. Winter grill hours: 11 am - 4 PM. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas. Altitude 6,412 ft. Carrying water highly recommended.

Driving to the start box
324 Beckers Lane-From I-25, exit 141 (Hwy 24 W), proceed West. Exit Hwy 24 Business Rt, Manitou sign, left on to Manitou Ave. First traffic light (Beckers), turn N (left), continue to Trading Post. Summer, ride trolley from Manitou Springs to Trading Post for a small fee.
