Start Point / Driving Directions: 1632 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80302 (303)417-1700 From Denver: Hwy 36 to Boulder. Exit Baseline. Left to Broadway. Right approx 1.5 miles to Boulder University Inn at Broadway/Arapahoe. From N of Boulder: S on I-25 to exit 235 (Hwy 52). Turn right to Hwy 119 (Diagonal Hwy). Left on Hwy 119 and follow to Boulder. Continue straight as highway becomes Foothills Pkwy. Right to Arapahoe, continue about 1.5 miles to Broadway. Left on Broadway. Boulder University Inn directly on corner on left.

Comments: Start point elevation is 5430 ft. Trail is on city streets and hike/bike trails. It follows Boulder Creek and goes through the historic Chautauqua Park, past the Chautauqua Theatre, Dining Hall (at times open for lunch) and past many old cabins from the 1920's. This park is a lovely place for a picnic lunch. You will also visit the "funky" Pearl St. Mall, walk through a small portion of the University of Colorado, and some lovely residential areas.
