The walk goes through downtown Athens, the University of Georgia Campus and passes by Sanford Stadium. See quaint shops, historical sites, sidewalk cafes, Fraternity and Sorority Row and student activity. Tree lined neighborhoods have homes from the late 1800's and early 1900's.

Driving to the start box
166 N Finley. Atlanta go N I-85, exit 106 (Hwy 316), about 45 miles. Hwy 316 ends, continue on Epps Bridge, merges on Atlanta Hwy/Broad (Business Rt 78). Stay on Hwy 78. Marriott Courtyard on corner of Business Rt 78 (Broad) and Finley (across from Holiday Inn Parking Lot). SC I-85, take Hwy 441 S to Athens. Go under Loop 10, right on College to Broad, right. Marriott on right about 4 blocks. S of Athens, heading N US 441, take US 78 W through Athens to Finley, right to Marriott.
