Event comments

Start point elevation is 5675 ft. This walk takes you through the main street of Golden, "Where the West Lives", and several museums. You will also enjoy bike trails and walk through the Colorado School of Mines campus with its beautiful natural stone buildings dating from the 19th century. There is a substantial hill on the 10 Km route. A award is a beautiful new 150 Year Anniversary Patch.

1010 Washington, Golden, CO 80402 (303)279-3113 From I-70 WB: Exit 265 (Hwy 58) Left on Washington. Right on 10th, then left to parking lot. From I-70 EB: Exit 260 Follow signs for W 6th/US 6 W. A long exit with sharp curve. Merge to US 6 W. Follow US 6 to Hwy 58. Right on Hwy 58, right on Washington. Right on 10th, left to parking lot. From C-470 W: C470 ends at W 6th/US 6. Merge to W 6th/US 6. Right on Hwy 58. Right on Washington. Right on 10th, left to parking lot.
