Event information

All but 1K of the trail is paved, and walkers have the option of walking the beach for major parts of the 11K. You will see: the public docks, where people fish and crab; a working marina where fresh fish can be purchased right off the boat; and quaint shops of this fishing town; plus the ocean and the "tallest lighthouse in Washington". On a clear day, you can see a view of the Olympics and Mt. Rainier.

how to get to the event

Driving to the start box

108 South Montesano St, Westport, WA 98595. From I-5: Exit 104 and follow signs to Aberdeen. The highway will change from US 101 N to WA-8 to US 12 W. In Aberdeen stay in left lane turning left after Rite Aid and crossing the big bridge. Follow Westport and highway signs for US 101 S, then WA 105. In 18 miles make a slight right onto S Montesano St. Shop 'N Kart is on the right. If you go through the traffic light, you have passed the store and it's parking lot. Ask for the Walk Box in the deli.
