These routes were formely sponsored by the Sherwood Merrywalkers. The trail will take you into Tualatin Park in Tualatin, walking under a railroad trestle and onto a footbridge over the Tualatin River. Cross under another railroad trestle into Cook Park in Tigard. After enjoying Cook Park, continue into Durham City Park in Durham. The footbridge across the Tualatin River that makes this walk possible was a venture undertaken by the three cities of Tualatin, Tigard, and Durham. WOC: Eyes, Flowers, Forests,Gardens, Gazebo. K-Klubs; COW; County (Washington); 4Ws Waterways (Tualatin River)

Event information

The trail takes you into Tualatin Park and onto a footbridge traveling over the Tualatin River. From there you walk through Cook Park and Durham City Park. This is a nice walk that you won't want to miss. Many walkers come back repeatedly to enjoy the trail again. Optional 5K takes in two cities and two parks.

Driving to the start box

7410 SW Bridgeport Rd., Tigard, OR, 97224 - From I-5, take exit 290, Lake Oswego/Durham. Southbound turn right & Northbound turn left onto Lower Boones Ferry Rd. Drive about .2 miles where Lower Boones Ferry becomes Bridgeport Rd. At stoplight turn left into REI's parking lot. Ask at check out for start box. REI Hours - 7 days a week at 10am. Mon-Sat - open until 9pm; & Sun - open until 6pm. For holiday hours, call Tualatin REI at 503-624-8600.
