There is road construction (till Augusr 31st, 2017) on Terwilliger Road close to the Tryon Creek State Park entrance. There is a road barricade for Road Closed - Open access for Local Use just before the Entrance to the State Park - You can still drive on Terwilliger Road to enter the park. The actual road closure is past the park entrance. Highway 43 in Lake Oswego turning on to Terwilliger Road is Closed! This closure is till April 1st, 2017 .

Event information

For 2016 an old route brought back. The walk will start in Tryon Creek State Park and go by many wealthy homes until reaching Elk Rock Gardens at Bishop's Close with outstanding views of the Willamette River and Elk Rock. Tyron Creek Park is especially beautiful in the spring when the trilliums are in bloom.

Right onto Barbur Blvd., then Right again onto Terwilliger Blvd. for 2.5 miles, following signs to Tryon Creek State Park. I-5 Northbound to Exit 297 (Terwilliger). Turn Right onto Terwilliger Blvd. for 2.4 miles, following signs to Tryon Creek State Park. Park entrance will be on the right 0.75 mile beyond the round-about. Ask for start box. Open 9:00-4:00,closed major holidays
