Event comments

Delightful area, especially along Bay around sunset (Note: watch hours of operation, especially Saturdays, or if Hurricanes are present in the Gulf.) The St Andrews Coffeehouse (next door) food has been excellent and reasonably-priced in the past. (Prior Start Point)

Event information

Walk proceeds thru much of "old" St Andrews on sidewalks/streets along the Bay. Route passes thru neighborhoods and 10K follows a portion of a walking track in the Womens' Garden Club. Historical site info accompanies route instructions/map. Walk is accessible to strollers, but wheelchairs may have some difficulty. Strollers will have difficulty for about 100' on sand, at end of Oaks by the Bay Park and near Garden Club if doing 10K. A pet water bowl is usually placed outside St Andrew's Coffeehouse on sidewalk. Pets allowed on 6' leash with pick up.
