Event comments
You will drive from registration point to walk start. The walk will consist of two 5K loops. One loop will be predominantly in Dallas county and the other loop will be in Laclede County. The walk follows along park roads and trails and along the beautiful Niangua River and Bennett Spring. Trout Season is open from March 1 to Oct 31. Use caution on the section along the river. Note: Walk is sometimes unavailable due to flooding.

Event information
Visit Bennett Spring, one of Missouris oldest state parks and Missouris fourth largest spring. Bennett Spring is a popular trout fishing spot. The trail starts at the fish hatchery and go along trails and across a beautiful arched bridge constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps. This walk qualifies for Laclede and Dallas Counties in Walking MO County Special Program.

Driving to the start box
669 W. Elm St, Lebanon, MO 65536 From either direction on I-44 take exit 129. Turn north on Jefferson Ave ( HYW 5 North). Go to the stoplight at Elm ST (Hist Rt 66) and turn left. Caseys will be on your right. After registering you will drive approximately 12 miles to Bennett Spring State Park.
