Hours: M-Thur 5:00am to 10pm, Fri 5am-9pm and Sa 7am to 6pm, Su 12-6pm. The Walk box is to the left of the reception desk against the wall. Closed major holidays and PM before. Walk in daylight hours. Restrooms/water are available Strollers/wheelchairs permitted, though some streets have no sidewalks. Always carry water. Leashed pets permitted but not in YMCA or any Park.

Event information
New route for 2016. This 5 & 10 km walk (3.1 & 6.2 mi) along oak shaded Winter Park downtown and residential neighborhoods. Walk around the shaded, oak lined streets. Walk by downtown Winter Park's fine shops and the excellent restaurants along Park Avenue past the Morse Museum with its permanent display of Tiffany glass and into the Rollins College campus. Always carry water.

Driving to the start box
Map: http://tinyurl.com/LakemontYMCA-MFM ; GPS: 28.6095115,-81.3288606. The 5K start is a 3 mile drive after registration. To Lakemont YMCA at 1201 N. Lakemont Ave. from Orlando take I-4E to Exit 87, Fairbanks Ave. and turn right (east) for 3.5 miles thru Winter Park (becomes Aloma Ave.). Turn left on Lakemont Ave. at Mobile station. The YMCA is on the left just past the light at Palmer. From SR 417 use Exit 38, Aloma, and turn left, drive 6 miles. Turn right on Lakemont (Mobil is on the corner). The YMCA is on the left (just past the light) at Palmer. Park in the left lot.
