Event information

The route instruction's & notes are courtesy of JoAnne Cross. See historic downtown Orlando, Lake Eola and its new art sculptures, City Hall, new Performing Arts Center, Amway Center, and the County Courthouse. The large fountain in Lake Eola, was completely refurbished in 2011 providing a nightly light show with music. Look for the famous "black swans" or take a ride in the swan paddle boats. Restrooms in Lake Eola. Leashed pets are allowed. All walkers must carry water.

*Note Interstate 4 is undergoing a major reconstruction thru 2021; delays normally downtown between exits s80-85. To 800 N Delaney from I-4W, use exit 82B, Anderson. Left to Orange. Right on Orange to 3rd light, Gore. Left, then left at mid block into the Senior Center. From I-4E use exit 82B. Right on South St. Right on Orange go to 3rd light, Gore. Left and then left at mid block to the Senior Center. From SR 408W take exit 11, Rosalind and stay in left lane. Left on Orange to 4th light, Gore. Left and then left at mid block to Senior Center. From E SR 408E, exit 10C, Downtown. Left lane to Delaney. Right on Delaney and go to 1st light, Gore. Right, right at mid block to Senior Center.
