Event comments

Please remember that being a nature walk, mother nature rules. If it has been raining heavily, the trail may be extremely muddy or under water. Restrooms are available in the park, but carry water with you. Pets are welcome when accompanied by owner and leash. Please pick up after pets. During spring and summer months bring bug spray. Event must be walked during daylight hours due to park hours being restricted to daylight hours only. 10K Trail rating: 2B. The walk trail winds through woods, along tree lines, and ponds. The majority of the trail is on black paths, but some gravel trails and board walks. 5 KM trail also through park on dirt trails, some grass trails and pavement. It is suitable for strollers but not wheelchairs.

Driving to the start box

9305 N Main, 45415. I-70, Exit 29 (SR 48) - From I-70, Exit 29 which is SR 48, go South at 1st traffic light turn right between McDonalds and Waffle House. If you were west bound then it is 2 traffic lights South. You will need to drive from the Comfort Inn to the start of the walk.
