NO DOGS are allowed on the boardwalk between May 1 and September 30. Water and restrooms are available at the Start and seasonally along the Boardwalk. Food and drinks may be purchased at establishments along the way. Fee for IVV credit or non-IVV is $3.00. Children 12 and under walk for free (IVV credit included) courtesy of Freestate Happy Wanderers.

Event information

Daily, dawn to dusk. The 6 and 10 Km trails are out and back on the Boardwalk along the Atlantic Ocean beach front. The 12 Km trail makes a loop going out along Synepuxent Bay and returns the entire length of the Boardwalk. The trails are flat, at sea level, mostly along paved sidewalks and the Boardwalk.

HOTEL CLOSED ON NOVEMBER 13TH - SORRY. REOPEN ON FEBRUARY 15, 2018 - 6007 Coastal Hwy, Ocean City, MD 21842 (410) 524-6100. From US 50, follow Route 90 east into Ocean City, turn right at Coastal Highway and make an immediate right onto 61st Street at the Sea Bay Inn. There is an about 10 minute drive (20 short blocks) to the walk start at the Convention Center.
