Walk through the history of a fascinating southern city. Plan a stop at the Knoxville Visitor Center for lots of local information, gift shop, and cafe. Time your walk to be at the Visitors' Center at noon on any weekday and enjoy live music with the WDVX Blueplate Special. Your walk will introduce you to the art, history, and culture of this interesting city. Plenty of places to stop along the way for food and drink.

Driving to the start box

500 Hill Avenue SE, 37902 865-637-1234. Westbound I-40: Take Exit 389 (South Hall of Fame Drive). At end of ramp turn left on Hall of Fame.Eastbound I-40: Take Exit 389 (Hall of Fame Drive). At end of ramp turn right on Hall of Fame.Travel on Hall of Fame approx. 1.4 miles to Hill Avenue. The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame will be on your left and James White Fort Historical Site on your right. Turn left and then almost immediately left again into entrance to Marriott Hotel. If parking isnt available in front of the Marriott Hotel, you may use their parking garage (free). Ask for the Walk Box at the hotel registration desk.
