NOC: Mon-Sat 10 AM to 7 PM, Sun 10 AM to 6 PM. Closed Christmas and New Years. Event shares Walk Box with Gatlinburg Trail and Tourist Walks. From registration at the NOC drive 8 miles (15 minutes) to the Elkmont Campground in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Directions in Walk Box. Townsend VC: Daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed major holidays. Event shares Walk Box with Townsend Walk. From registration at Townsend VC, drive 17 miles to the Elkmont Campground in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Directions in Walk Box. Walk along the Little River Trail through the historic cabins at Elkmont. From the days of the Little River Lumber Company to old vacation homes with the natural surroundings of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Left on 441 (Parkway) and follow it to Light #10. NOC is on your immediate left. From Knoxville take I-40 East to Exit 407.
