The box is at the front counter. No mention of holidays on the website but we have found that they are closed for some holidays so a walker should call to check before walking on a holiday --816-505-2423. Hours of operations: Monday- Friday 6 a.m.to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Event information
Line Creek Trail, one of the newest trails in the Northland area, is a walkers jewel. The trail follows Line Creek, giving the walker views of small rapids and an occasional view of blue herons and other water birds. The trail meanders through meadows and wooded areas. Walkers may catch glimpses of different birds such as hawks and cardinals. Deer are a common sight. Area history buffs will enjoy a quick view of one of the Interurban bridges from a point on the lower trail. (Disclaimer: This bridge may be somewhat difficult to see with all of the trees leafed out.) The Clay-Platte Trackers invite you to walk this beautiful trail, enjoy nature and a great walk. New trails are completed so we can easily add 20K to our walk. Qualifies for "Platte County" in the Walking MO County Special Program.

Driving to the start box
Line Creek Community Center-5940 NW Waukomis Dr., Kansas City, MO 64151. From the south, take US-71 to I-29 N. Take exit 3A Waukomis Drive. Turn right at the fork and continue for .9 miles. Turn left onto NW 60th street. The Community Center will be on your left. From the north, take NW Barry Road, turn south on N Green Hills Road and continue on NW Waukomis Drive. At the traffic circle, continue straight to stay on NW Waukomis Drive. Turn left toward NW Waukomis Drive. Take the 1st right onto NW Waukomis Drive. Take the 2nd right onto NW 60th Street. The Community Center will be on your left.
