Walkers will enjoy the wonderful town of Lewes, Delaware, with a canal full of boats, many varieties of beach cottages, shops, restaurants, a museum, and the beach (Atlantic Ocean). A wonderful wander.

416 E Savannah Rd., Lewes, DE 19958. From DC/MD: Bay Bridge to US Rt 50/301 split. Right on US Rt 50 to US Rt 50/MD Rt 404 intersection. Left on MD Rt 404, to circle in Georgetown. Right on Del Rt 404/US Rt 9. Cross Del Rt 1, to Bus US Rt 9, becomes Savannah. N: Exit I-95 W of Wilmington to Del Rt 7/Del Rt 1 S to Dover (toll road). Del Rt 1 S (Delaware shore points) through Dover to end of limited access rd, merges with US Rt 113. S on US Rt 113 to Del Rt 1 Bypass at Milford. Bear left on Del Rt 1, intersection US Rt 9/Bus US Rt 9. Left on Bus Rt 9, becomes Savannah. S: US Rt 13 N to US Rt 13/113 split @ Pocomoke City, MD. Right on US Rt 113 to Del Rt 24 in Millsboro, right on Del Rt 24 to Del Rt 1. Left on Del Rt 1 to intersection US Rt 9/Bus US Rt 9. Right on Bus US Rt 9, becomes Savannah. Savannah over drawbridge, to Lemon Tree Restaurant (open 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, 7 days a week). Left to parking lot.
