Mon-Sat 6am-10pm; Sun 6am-6pm. (Owner occasionally closes earlier than posted closing times.) Closed Christmas. Walk goes through the historical section of New Castle, along a paved greenway, and a paved trail along the Delaware River. There are several older uneven brick sidewalks.

Driving to the start box

625 Delaware St., New Castle 19720 (302-322-2662). NJ and I-295: exit for US-13 S to DE-141 (Basin Rd.) to New Castle. **Left on DE-273 (Delaware St.) Cross RR tracks, left at traffic island, start point on right. North and South on I-95, take DE-141 (Basin Rd.) exit to New Castle. **Continue as above. Due to limited parking in front of the restaurant, walkers are requested to park in the shopping center lot across the street.
