Event comments
The walk passes multiple quaint outdoor cafes and provides a great view of the Columbus skyline. In addition, the 11K trail includes the Village of Marble Cliff which is one of the first suburbs of Columbus, settled as a community in 1890. The 11K walk qualifies for the all special programs listed including Walk Ohio 88 counties and Walk the United States (50 states), 5K qualifies for all of 11K special programs except Food for Thought, Make a Wish Water Fountain, Take a walk in a city Park and Treasure Hunt. Water and restrooms available at start and at many eateries and business along the route. The 11K and 5K walks are rated 1A. The route walk utilities paved sidewalks and streets on level terrain through historical residential neighborhood and passes one of the earliest regional shopping areas in the United States.
