Description: The walk begins at an historic mill complex dating back to the 19th Century, then goes into downtown Milford with its many interesting and unique historic buildings, and onto the Pinchot Greenway Trail. The trail winds through residential areas and the business district and finally to the Grey Towers, Milford's famous National Historic Site and ancestral home of Gifford Pinchot, the first Chief of the U.S Forestry Service and twice Governor of Pennsylvania.

Location: WEB REGISTRATION ONLY (www.cva4u.org) START: Water Wheel Cafe & Bakery, 150 Water St.
Start Point / Driving Directions: REGISTRATION: Please use the online start box provided by the California Volkssport Association website (www.cva4u.org). Follow the left side link, 'Online Start Box', and the instructions provided to sign a waiver and register for this event. Payments for event credit and directions use Paypal. The directions and insert cards are PDFs that you can download and print as needed. The POC does not provide event directions or accept alternate payment methods. The entire online process should take less than 10 minutes for a first time user.
From the South: Take Rte. 209 North (Federal Rd.) from East Stroudsburg into Milford. Turn left on Broad St. at the light (there is only stoplight in Milford). Follow Broad St. as it curves to the right and becomes Sawkill Ave. Continue to the Water Wheel Cafe parking lot on the left.
From the West: Take I-84 East to Exit 46 for Milford. Turn right on Rte. 6. Go about 2 miles then turn right on Mill St. which becomes Water St. The Water Wheel Cafe will be on the left.
From the East: Take I-84 West to the Exit 46 for Milford. Turn left on Rte. 6. Follow directions from Rte. 6 above.
From the North: Take your best route to I-84 and follow directions for West or East above.
