Event information

The walk begins at an historic mill complex dating back to the 19th Century, then goes into downtown Milford with its many interesting and unique historic buildings, and onto the Pinchot Greenway Trail. The trail winds through residential areas and the business district and finally to the Grey Towers, Milford's famous National Historic Site and ancestral home of Gifford Pinchot, the first Chief of the U.S Forestry Service and twice Governor of Pennsylvania.

REGISTRATION: Please use the online start box provided by the California Volkssport Association website (www.cva4u.org). Follow the left side link, 'Online Start Box', and the instructions provided to sign a waiver and register for this event. Payments for event credit and directions use Paypal. The directions and insert cards are PDFs that you can download and print as needed. The POC does not provide event directions or accept alternate payment methods. The entire online process should take less than 10 minutes for a first time user. Detailed start point and driving directions are provided along with the walking directions that should be downloaded from the Online Start Box upon registering for this event.
