Store hours: M-Sat 8am-10pm, Sun 10am-10pm. Register any time, but start and finish walk only during daylight hours. This Monterey County walk winds through a cemetery, uphill to a community college (11km only), around downtown Monterey past historic buildings that exemplify the past of Monterey and early California, out a Coast Guard pier inhabited by seals and otter (11km only), and along a rec trail with stunning views of Monterey Bay.

Driving to the start box
500 Del Monte, Monterey, CA 93940-2405. From Hwy 1 S take the Pacific Grove/Del Monte turn off. Continue S to 500 Del Monte. Lopez Taqueria & Liquor on left on SE corner of Del Monte and Figueroa. Enter from Del Monte. The walk box is a cabinet at the counter by the seating area. After registering, please don't leave your car in the small parking lot. Drive one block farther on Figueroa to the free parking by the ball park.
