Daily, dawn to dusk. Trail includes the ocean Promenade to the San Buenaventura Mission, down Main St, past the the historic City Hall, an archeological site, along the Ventura River and surfers point. San Buenaventura Mission is open Mon-Sat, 10 AM to 5 PM, Sun 10 AM to 4 PM. Donation $1.

756 E. Thompson Blvd, Ventura, CA 93001. (805) 648-5371. North on US 101, exit in Ventura at California St. Turn right on California to Thompson Blvd. Turn right on Thompson 2 1/2 blocks to the Vagabond Inn on the right. South on US 101 take the Ventura Ave exit. Turn right on Thompson about 7 blocks to the Inn.
