Hours: M-Sat 7am-7pm; Sun 7am-3pm; closed most major Holidays. The 5km trail leads through Sligo Creek Park and starts from Shalom Kosher Market in the Kemp Mill Shopping Center but registration and walking instructions are at Caramelo Bakery. Kemp Mill Shopping Center is 2 miles from the Bakery (driving directions to Shalom Kosher Market are on the 5km walk instructions). No restrooms or water at Bakery start point. Restrooms at Safeway, 1 block south of Bakery at Georgia & Reedie and on trail as noted in instructions.

11301 Georgia Ave, Wheaton, MD 20902, 301-942-9330. Start Point: I-495 to Exit 31A. N to Wheaton to Price on Right. Start/finish at corner of Georgia and Price. BY METRO SUBWAY: Take Red Line to Wheaton Metro Station, 1 block S of Start/Finish. Parking at two Metro garages near Start/Finish.
