Whether you crave the outdoors, or just a quiet repose, we invite you to enjoy both on this tranquil walk in Travelers Rest! Travelers Rest sits at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The town has a unique variety of antique and specialty shops. However the one thing they are most proud of is their connection to the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The Swamp Rabbit Trail connects the city of Greenville to tranquil Travelers Rest to the north. This walk is primarily on the trail which is closed to all motorized vehicles. It is a paved path through downtown Travelers Rest to Furman University to the south. It briefly loops off the trail onto Furman University capturing a small glimse of the campus then back to the SRT and returning back to start poin

From Greenville take US 276 (Poinsette Hwy) north to merge left continue to US276 S. Main St. Right at Roe Center Ct., after overpass. Destination on the right.
