The entire Pine Creek Rail Trail is sanctioned as an extended distance Volksbike. Start where you want, go north or south, and for as far as you wish.

GROUP WALK on April 24, 2024. Meet at 2:15 pm at Scott's Farm trailhead, 301 Bernheisel Bridge Rd, Carlisle, PA. Walk 3 hours and then dinner at Middlesex Diner. Text POC if attending.

The park is just north of the midpoint of the Appalachian Trail and has the AT Museum, a hostel, and the General Store (ice cream challenge).

There are three walk options: 10K AppalachianTrail, 5K Bolivar Heights, and 5K Lower Town. The ATC Visitor Center is open six days a week - closed on Wednesdays.
